Physician, researcher and educator.

I trained in medicine and worked as a pediatrician for many years. Over time, a different question moved me most: how do we prepare the people who care for others? In 2023, I decided to dedicate myself fully to education.

I hold a master’s degree from the Federal University of Paraná, a doctorate from the University of São Paulo Medical School and, since 2018, the Livre-Docência (habilitation) in Health Professions Education. My research looks at the quality of life, well-being and educational environment of students and teachers.

In 2011 I started over in São Paulo, where most of my work happens. In 2019, the Harvard Macy Institute connected me to an international network of educators. In 2025 came the KIPRIME fellowship at Karolinska Institutet, a talk at the World Federation for Medical Education conference and chairing the Faculty Development track at the AMEE conference.
